Margheriti showroom

We have proudly realized the new showroom for Margheriti company.

No, maybe it is more correct to write that we have created for the Margheriti family another greenhouse that represents, after years of knowledge and friendship between our family and their family, the plastic sign of trust, the vivid sign of a relationship that goes beyond the customer-supplier relationship.

Because we Cardelli, like the Margheriti and fortunately many of our customers, have the presumption of wanting to win the human trust of our customers, their respect and affection. Doing things right is only the starting point, it's the incipit. The rest, when it comes, it gives us much more.

And here is Margheriti's showroom: an architecture in the green, light, airy, pure, white as requested by Enzo Margheriti, as desired by Davide and Alberto, as well supported and directed by the architect Ragazzini. Free but nestled between the new offices, the existing greenhouses and the logistics building.

A sign that sews and becomes dematerialized in space. It’s present but with discretion.

The new greenhouse of the renovated headquarters in Chiusi, in the province of Siena, is together with the new offices the contemporary representation of that great hotbed of artists of green that Margheriti represents. We had to be at their height and it was a responsibility that Cardelli Bros. accepted with great pleasure and honour.

In fact, the Margheriti are the worthy Tuscan heirs to a tradition of arts and crafts that in the territory of Chiusi, Montepulciano, Castiglion del Lago, remains suspended and hanging from an ideal of beauty, which is not the child of chance, but is the child of the extraordinary history settled in those places, of a design and taste that has become the heritage of the Tuscan and Umbrian people. Social taste, geometric harmony, organicity and classicism. In three words "Sense of Beauty".

This Sense of Beauty has been widespread since the times of Simone Martini, Bernardino di Betti, well known as Pinturicchio, Pietro di Cristoforo Vannucci, known as Perugino, Raffaello, of their "workshops of arts and crafts" and we could go on to get to times closer to us and to the informal balance, created and imagined as an artistic oxymoron by that genius, also worldwide, of Alberto Burri.

That sense of balance that comes from humanism, from the Renaissance and from an almost objectified, absolute beauty, which we have tried to recreate in that magical land between Tuscany and Umbria, and which has now spread internationally for centuries.

In that middle land where the dialect fades, like the water of the lake of Chiusi, touched by Umbria and for a short time in Tuscany. There the Margheriti family gave us a white palette, already set in a breathtaking landscape, theirs, and we built the "Serra" for this great "workshop of Italian garden artists" now famous throughout the world and worthy heir to the extraordinary ones of the Italian Renaissance.

For all this we thank them

With esteem and affection

Massimo and Mario Cardelli
